How to Filter and Search Service Requests

How to Filter and Search Service Requests
Momentum AMS offers flexible filtering tools to help you locate service requests quickly. Whether you are managing them from the Service Requests Overview pipeline or from the Activity History tab inside an insured’s record, the filters can be customized to narrow your search by request type, insured, stage, and more.

1️⃣ Accessing the Service Requests List

You can filter service requests from two main areas:

  • Pipelines → Service Requests Overview – A Kanban-style board showing requests grouped by stage or status.

  • Insured’s Activity History → Service Requests – A list of service requests tied only to that insured.

2️⃣ Filters in Service Requests Overview (Pipeline View)

In Pipeline View, use the filter menu in the upper-right corner to narrow down visible service requests. Available filters include:

  • Assigned To – View requests assigned to a specific CSR, producer, or team member.

  • Type – Filter by service request type (Driver Add, Vehicle Remove, Address Change, COI, Policy Change Other, Generic).

  • Stage – Narrow by your agency’s custom stages.

  • Insured Name – Show requests tied to a specific insured.

  • Subject – Search by the subject field.

  • Custom Type – Filter by agency-defined custom types.

3️⃣ Filters in the Insured’s Activity History Tab

When viewing service requests inside an insured’s profile, click the Activity History tab and select the Service Requests view. The filter options here are more detailed:

  • Due Date – Filter by a specific date or date range.

  • Subject – Search by the subject line of the request.

  • Status – Choose from All, New, In Progress, Completed.

  • Identifier – Search by request identifier number (if applicable).

  • Agent / CSR – Filter by the assigned agent or CSR.

  • Insured – Multi-select insured names (in this context, usually limited to the one you are viewing).

  • Policy – Filter by specific policies linked to the request.

  • Description – Search within the description text.

  • Create Date – Filter by when the request was created.

  • Change Date – Filter by the last date the request was modified.

  • Last Change User – See requests updated by a specific user.

  • Stage – Filter by the custom stage name.

  • Custom Type – Narrow down by your agency’s custom request types.

4️⃣ Best Practices

  • Keep Completed requests hidden from your default view to reduce clutter.

  • Use tags or custom types for special categories like Urgent, VIP, or Renewal Change.

  • Pair filters like Assigned To and Stage to quickly manage workloads and track progress.

  • When working in an insured’s profile, use date filters to focus on recent or time-sensitive requests.
